This product is built well. The mounts work on the factory KIA aero bar. This will meet my desired needs. Here's what I wish this product had in its design, the mounts don't require all the hex head fastener tightening back and forth to get it on and squared up between the two racks. Thule now makes a rack that slides out so you don't have to lunge onto your salt encrusted vehicle to reach your skis or put them there - nice idea. The sound of the wind hitting the racks is noticeable at times but OK to still have hands free calls and listen to music. Someone should design a aerodynamic piece to go into them when not in use transporting skis. The majority of the drive time is spent without skis and they are too much a PIA to remove on use. |
